vehicle loitering such as suspicious movement, tracking cars or goods and law enforcement purposes for instance gathering forensic evidence or searching for stolen vehicles.

AXIS Q1700-LE is specially designed to capture license plate images with exceptional clarity and sharpness. It delivers excellent HDTV 1080p and ensures 

the required pixel density for license plate identification as well as plate markings, such as transporting dangerous goods. Each camera captures traffic in one 

lane at a range of up to 100 m (328 ft) during daytime. For coverage of multiple lanes, more cameras can easily be installed. In pitch darkness the camera captures

license plate images at up to 50 m (164 ft) and up to 100 m (328 ft) with the optional accessory AXIS T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator.
